    Spiritual Awakening Symptoms

A spiritual awakening is a blessing and a curse at the same time.  It means you will spiritually ascend to a level you never thought possible.  You have been chosen to be a lightworker in this world.  Your exact job in your lifetime is yours to figure out.  But you must first awaken and start the process of your soul awakening.  Awakening comes with a lot of cool, yet uncomfortable symptoms.  And the initial, most uncomfortable spiritual awakening symptoms can take anywhere from months to years to be completed.  But the whole awakening process never ends, it will be a lifelong journey of transformation. These are symptoms I experienced and…

    You Want a Soulmate.

I have been on a journey of soul exploration for a little while now.  I have grown tremendously and it has forced me to notice my soul connections.  By soul connection, I mean the soul mates or twin flame’s. First let’s look at the soulmate dynamic.  Soulmates are partners from past lives that we have known and now know in our current life. You can have many different soulmates in one lifetime.  They are put here in this life to help us grow more and more. They will push your buttons and bring about your flaws so that you can begin to fix them.  They can even force childhood issues…

    An Alternative Suggestion of God

I grew up going to church with my mother.  Every Sunday we would go, and I took that religion as an adult with a family of my own.  We went religiously, and did the best we could to walk the straight path. But being a christian was exhausting for me. I felt guilty everyday about my downfalls, or ‘sin’.  Everyday I would repent, only to perform the same sin as before: Cursing, getting very angry, gossiping.  I finally got tired of it and decided I didn’t want to live the rest of my life feeling guilty, or ‘condemned’.  I didn’t want to spend the rest of my days saying sorry,…

Signs you’re made to be a writer

So many people want to write for a living.  I mean, it allows you to create, be your own boss, and manage your own schedule.  Being the boss and schedule manager allows you to work from home in your pajamas! Who wouldn’t want to write?  Since I am a self-proclaimed writer, I know what it takes to be one and I also know how to tell if you are really supposed to be one.  This is just for fun so if these don’t resonate with you, I say try it for yourself. Write, and see how it goes. You never know till you try. So here are some signs you…

    Marriage, the biggest lie

It seems like today people cannot wait to get married and have kids.  I grew up in a small town and witnessed this first hand.  Maybe it was because there weren’t many things to do in that town.   But teens would find a partner and began their life together right after high school.  They would get married, the women would have kids and become housewives.  The husband would become the breadwinner, bringing in money to take care of his family. Then they would live happily ever after. I got pregnant when I was twenty.  My boyfriend and I were not married, but I was determined to work it out for…

    Where are you God?

Alone with my pain I cry out to you in vain. I only hear myself Only feel myself.   Wish you were here Wish you were my peer. My savior is gone Never was all along   I only have myself My God , myself. I still yearn to pray And let you help me escape.   But prayer is useless This life is ruthless I will sit here and ruminate On the one big mistake   You were with me I was so silly Now I know the truth And it hurts me at the root   I only have myself To wish me well. I can save me…

    Don’t forget your Body Frame!

I have always been heavier than other women, even if we were the same height.  And I’ve always struggled with my body perception. I have been the same height and weight ever since I was in 9th grade.  I grew fast and then stopped, later on my peers caught up to me. So I considered myself to be tall and heavy most of my childhood.  Even as an adult, I have tried to lose weight to be considered normal. According to the height and weight chart for women, I am supposed to weigh between 125 and 140 pounds.  But I have always floated around 150, even when I diet and…

Benefits of weight lifting for Women

Weight lifting used to be something I hated in high school.  I played extracurricular sports and weight lifting was mandatory.  A couple of months in the gym gave me defined arm muscles, and bigger leg muscles.  I looked at my teammates who didn’t have any muscle mass after lifting for months and thought  I want to be like that.  I learned that I build and gain muscle easily. I weighed more with my new muscle, and I didn’t like it.   I wanted to be like the thinner girls who couldn’t gain muscle. They lifted everyday, like me, but didn’t look as bulky as I did.  As much as I wanted…

    Dreaded Isolation

Isolation by definition is  the act of keeping apart from others; the condition of being kept apart from others;  For us, it means being alone. And as human beings we were never meant to be alone (Genesis 2:18). We fill our days with tasks to avoid it.  Such as work, watching television, listening to music, and socialising. We do all this to avoid the quiet sound of alone. We don’t like it because being alone can create feelings of despair, depression, and anxiety.  But even though it isn’t fun or likable, being alone can help us. Sometimes it is necessary for us. In the Bible, there were many times Jesus…

    Your Reason for Existing

Life is good and life is bad.  We have to make a mindful effort to make the best of it everyday.  One of the best ways to live a happy life is to find your dream or purpose for living, and start doing it.  Mark Twain said “The two most important days in life are the day you are born and the day you discover the reason why.”  Most people live their whole lives, never knowing their purpose for being here  because figuring out your meaning and purpose is very puzzling. I have grappled with this myself for some time.  Just when I thought I figured it out, things happened…
